Sifu Tim Tackett is the founder of the JKD Wednesday Night Group. He started his martial arts training while in the air force station in in Taiwan. Although, he wanted to train with Bruce from the first time he saw him, he was unable to start training in JKD until 1973 under the tutalage of Dan Inosanto who Bruce had given permission to teach a small group. In 1973, Dan Inosanto honored him with the rank of Senior First and was given permission to have a small Jeet Kune Do group. Eventually, the group moved to his garage meeting on Wednesday nights hence the name of The JKD Wednesday Night Group. Eventually, the group was joined by Sifu Bob Bremer and Jim Sewell who were two of Bruce Lee's original students.

He was a professional soccer player, active in martial arts before coming to the United States in 1977. He opened his first martial arts school in Roselle Park, NJ in 1985. Soon after, he began participating in many tournaments and consistently finished in the top ten. His interest in learning other martial arts led him to study Jeet Kune Do and train under Ted Wong, beginning in 1990. In 2005 Mr. Raimondi received his certification as an instructor of JKD.

Chief instructor and founder of JKD-EXTREME Martial Arts Academy, in West Palm Beach FL. He was born in the Bronx, New York in 1967 and moved to Florida several years later. He was a K-9 trainer for several years on a special task force unit. Sifu Carrion had a successful carreer in competitive martial arts in "Kickboxing" and "Shoot-fighting grappling". Now he passes his JKD skills to his students and his own self-developed ground-fighting game which he has worked hard to put together. The JKD Kids Club is Sifu Carrion's new venture into developing the next generation of JKD practioners.
Jim McCann
Started martial arts in the 1970's at the local YMCA. He continued studying traditional arts until joining a boxing gym in his early twenties. Tested his skills competitively in a variety of competitions and venues for more then a decade having fought well over 100 sanctioned and unsanctioned fights. He is formerly a #1 ranked Kickboxer, Grapplers Quest Gold Medalist, U.S. Grappling Championships Gold Medalist, and founder of Xtreme Freestyle Martial Arts.

Took his first martial arts lessons in 1984, at the age of 9. Began fighting in the ring in a toughman type contest that Vic Payne put on, in 1990. In 1990 and 1991, he finished 1st or 2nd place in almost every event he competed in. He also did some amateur boxing and kickboxing, and even a little professional boxing. He has been fortunate to train with many top instructors such as Dan Inosanto, Chai Sirisute, Joe Lewis, and others. He continues to learn from Tim Tackett, Bob Bremer, and all of his students and peers that are part of the WNG.
Dennis Blue
Started his formal martial arts training in 1973. Four years later, he and a friend discovered that Tim Tackett lived in Redlands. He has been with the group for over thirty years. He left for a few of those years to serve as a trooper and an advisor; after the service he continued his study of engineering. Having missed the action, he would return to duty for brief stints, and then go into law enforcement and executive protection.
